Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client's team in Lexington, South Carolina. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be tasked with overseeing our billing operations and ensuring the accuracy of customer records. The role also involves processing customer credit applications and managing cash collections. Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer credit applications and maintain their accuracy Oversee customer account monitoring and implement appropriate actions when necessary Manage cash collections and record them accurately Handle accounts receivable and ensure all transactions are duly recorded Utilize various software systems including Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks for various accounting tasks Perform account reconciliations periodically to ensure the correctness of records Respond to customer inquiries related to billing and accounts receivable Use Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis Handle commercial collections and ensure the accuracy of records Assist in other tasks as required by the team.Requirements Applicant must have a foundational understanding of Account Reconciliation. Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary. Proficiency in Billing is required. Experience with Cash Applications is advantageous. Understanding of Cash Collections processes is beneficial. Knowledge of Commercial Collections is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Familiarity with Oracle software is a plus. Experience with QuickBooks is beneficial. Knowledge of SAP is necessary. No specific years of experience required; open to all levels of expertise.
