Collections Specialist

Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Collections Specialist in the Wholesale Distribution industry, located in LEXINGTON-FAYETTE, Kentucky, 40505-3114, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for managing commercial accounts, utilizing your collections experience and providing excellent customer service while maintaining the ability to collect outstanding payments.Responsibilities: Oversee commercial accounts and handle collection processes Deliver high-quality customer service and address customer inquiries Keep track of customer credit applications and process them in a timely and efficient manner Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of customer credit Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate action to collect payments Implement commercial collections strategies to ensure timely payment of accounts Manage collections of consumer and commercial accounts, ensuring compliance with all regulations Utilize your collections experience to improve processes and customer experience. Requirements Applicants must have a deep understanding of Collection Processes, demonstrating the ability to handle both routine and complex cases effectively. Experience in Collections - Consumer is required, as the role involves dealing directly with individual consumers to resolve outstanding payment issues. Candidates should have prior experience in Collections - Commercial, showcasing their ability to handle high-value accounts and negotiate payment plans. Proficiency in Commercial Collections is a necessity, indicating the individual's capacity to manage and maintain commercial client relationships while ensuring prompt payment.
