Job DescriptionLead Pharmacy Technician Schedule: Full-time 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift opportunities.

Immediate hires full-time all shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd) Monday - Friday & every other weekend schedules.

New Long-Term Care Pharmacy - 3019 Ring Road, Ste 102, Elizabethtown, KY 42701

Competitive benefits package available the 1st of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.

Earn up to 3 weeks/120 hours PTO accrued annually.

We offer $2.00 shift differential for 2nd & 3rd shift, weekly pay, competitive wage, benefits & 120 hours PTO/year.

Specialty Rx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. Specialty Rx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.Responsibilities:

Assist Pharmacist in Charge with daily functions.

Fills daily drug orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist. Assists in processing returned drugs and recycling/disposing per procedure.

Assist in pre-packing frequently ordered medications, label, and store, as needed during low volume times Packages materials and products manually.

Pull/pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas (pre-pack racks).

Applies labels to blister cards then scans product for accuracy check.

Alerts the pharmacist on duty of any medication/product that is not scanning properly.

Maintains designated workstation areas and replenishes all stock supplies needed.

Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPPA.

Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Active Pharmacy Technician Licensure with the KY Board of Pharmacy is a must.

Previous experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.

Must be multi-tasking and reliable.

Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS

A high school diploma or GED is required.
