The project, Role of Social Supports in Mitigating the Effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences on Adolescent Psychopathology, will entail utilizing data from the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development study to 1) examine the prevalence of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) among racially/ethnically diverse youth, 2) describe the long-term impact of ACEs on internalizing/externalizing behaviors from early to late adolescence, and 3) determine whether social supports (caregiver, peer, neighborhood) buffer the long-term effects of exposures to ACEs on behavior. The student will be responsible for conducting literature searches and reviews, data cleaning, analyses, and dissemination of findings under my supervision. Knowledge or previous experience with conducting literature reviews and analyzing data using SPSS is desired.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesDoes this position have supervisory responsibilities?
