We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with electrical wiring, schematics, and high and low voltage systems, ensuring compliance.
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations accurately
Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage equipment
Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices to diagnose issues and ensure proper operation
Comply with NEC codes and safety standards during all phases of installation and maintenance
Assist in renovation projects by updating existing electrical systems or installing new wiring as needed
Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure timely completion of electrical components within project timelines
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and future reference
Skills
Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction or renovation environments
Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low/high voltage systems
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment
Additional maintenance person skills such as frame carpentry or general renovation experience are a plus
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently
