This Desktop Support Technician role with Robert Half requires a flair for clearly breaking down and explaining convoluted technical information in a way that is easily understood by non-technical users. This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary to hire in nature and is based in the Louisville, Kentucky, area.What you get to do every day- Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities- Resolve computer problems, and give guidance on appropriate action/solutions- Interact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures- Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals- Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems Requirements - Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing- Desktop support or related experience- Adeptness in Basic Troubleshooting- Hardware Troubleshooting experience highly desired- Practical knowledge of MS Windows 10- Strong familiarity with Computer Hardware- Desktop Hardware experience- Expertise in Remote Support- General familiarity with Active Directory- Demonstrated knowledge of Basic Network Troubleshooting- Hardware Troubleshooting experience preferred Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
