- Associate’s degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in IT supporting a corporate environment.
- Must possess excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must possess excellent multitasking and communication skills.
- Excellent written, grammar, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of computer and network (switches, routers, etc.) hardware.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, OSX.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- Familiar with remote access technologies.
- Ability to work with and without supervision.
- Effective telephone communicator.
- Works well in a team environment and under high pressure.
- Good working knowledge of DNS and e-mail.
- Familiarity with antivirantispyware solutions and best practices for removing malware.
- MSP experience a plus.
- Assist with installs, upgrades, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing usability of workstations (desktops/laptops), VoIP desk phones, printers, peripheral equipment, networking hardware, VPN, software, and other various forms of technology.
- Provide timely responses to users and management requests.
- Follow set policies and procedures when assisting end-users to ensure proper handling of requests.
- Provide in-person and remote support for hardware, software, general use questions, and network-related issues.
- Provide remote screen share support as necessary.
- Provide advanced technical support with the Microsoft suite of products (Windows 7/8/10, Office 2010/2013/2016, etc.).
- Create, manage, document, and update support tickets on an as-needed basis.
- Image, configure, and deploy workstations (desktops/laptops).
- Escalate and work with other IT groups to resolve technical problems as needed.
- Ensure successful completion of all daily tasks (Internally and self-assigned).
- Assist with maintaining and organizing hardware and software inventory.
- Make Active Directory changes as needed (User & Group management).
- Schedule is Monday – Friday with after-hours, weekend, and rotating on-call support.
