Procures supplies, materials, equipment, and services required to support workforce operations in accordance with contract requirements, corporate objectives, and government policies.  Ensures purchases are cost effective and in compliance with government policies. Purchases are made in a reasonable time frame for efficient workforce center operation. Review each purchase document. Ensure procurement is in accordance with the Equus Procurement Manual. Maintain working library on rules and regulations for sub-contracting, property compliance, and equipment purchasing. Uses the Small Business Administration as a prime source for locating new vendors. Ensure that any goals for using small, woman owned, small disadvantage and hub zone businesses are met. Create and maintain database of business supplies and vendors using on-line sources. Maintains purchase order files with documentation as required. Ensures that records are archived as required. Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property. Adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility. Fosters and sustains a conducive environment, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engagein work and learning.
