We are currently seeking a Retail Processing Lead to join our team. In this role, you will plan, organize and lead order fulfillment, picking and workflow activities in a high-volume distribution center. You will also be responsible for ensuring the team consistently meets productivity, accuracy and safety standards for all picking and order processing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent administrative and organizational skills, and sharp communication skills. Prior experience in an order fulfillment role is highly preferred.A day in the office looks like this: Overseeing a team of order fulfillment associates and drivers, managing both conveyable and non-conveyable items in the retail areaLeveraging the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to understand daily goals and maintain building balance and steady workflowDeveloping and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous productivity improvementsConducting root-cause analysis to identify the source of errors and uncover opportunities for improvement, including tracking individual performance to specific usernames to increase accountabilityCollaborating cross-functionally with other teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing that meets customer expectations Assessing staffing needs to support fluctuating workloads and maintain operational efficiencyIdentifying and implementing opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and optimize cost-effectivenessEnsuring compliance with standard operating procedures and methodologies for all retail processing activities
