Job Title: General or Skilled laborer
Responsibilities:
Assist in construction and renovations of federal buildings. Work includes but not limited to preparing work area, cleaning up work area, installing jobsite safety measures, loading and unloading materials and equipment, moving material, building and taking down scaffolding, operating hand tools and equipment. Assisting skilled tradespeople with repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, metal, concrete, and frameworks of partitions, drywall, windows, doors, and exterior building and site work, etc.
Requirements:
Drug free
Maintain a safe work environment
Good communication skills
Knowledge of construction materials and tools will be helpful
Ability to pass a satisfactory background check for base access
Experience with small tools and equipment will be helpful
Minimum age is 18 years
Job Type: Fulltime
Pay: Davis Bacon wage rate
