Looking for caring, reliable attendants to support a smart, friendly 20-year-old young adult who uses a wheelchair. This is non-medical home care.

St. George/Baton Rouge (near Woman’s Hospital)
Denham Springs (just south of I-12)

All transfers are powered by an electric lift (we’ll train you—easy to use).
No experience needed — we provide training.
Background check required for everyone’s safety.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Assist the young adult with evening/morning routines: bathroom, showering, dressing, and hygiene (using the electric lift).
Light housekeeping for one bedroom & bathroom: tidy/organize, light laundry, floors, bed/bath/sink.
PAY
$16.44/hr paid through Medicaid once enrolled.
$14/hr cash for the first two weeks until program setup is complete.
AVAILABLE SHIFTS
Weekday Mornings: 9:30 am–2:30 pm
Weekday Evenings: 7:00 pm–12:00 am (or 8:00 pm–12:00 am)
Weekend Mornings: 9:30 am–2:30 pm (Sat/Sun)
Weekend Evenings: 7:00–11:00 pm (or 8:00 pm–12:00 am) (Sat/Sun)
Weekend Overnights: 11:00 pm–7:00 am
(Evening attendants often pick up the overnight as well.)
WHO DOES WELL HERE
Kind, punctual, reliable, and comfortable with personal care.
Able to learn simple equipment (electric lift).
