Description IT ManagerRobert Half Technology is partnering with a client seeking an IT Manager in Lafayette, Louisiana. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing our IT infrastructure, including networking and systems administration. Your responsibilities will also include database management, security, and compliance.Responsibilities: Plan and oversee the installation and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and networks. Assist the I.T. department with leading and training I.T. staff. Provide oversight and monitoring of information security initiatives to include Identity & Access Management, systems hardening, alert and incident triage and investigation, and the implementation and adoption of security technologies. Develop and implement policies related to information security, network security, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure. Analyze resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance of information systems. Establish, measure, and define I.T. security goals and maintain an I.T. security roadmap. Monitor and analyze the success of I.T. security initiatives and projects and continually develop and evaluate new technologies and tools for the company. Direct the activities of the help desk to ensure the I.T. needs of users are met. Manage projects to integrate new technologies into existing systems. Perform ongoing support and maintenance of all hardware, software, and network components.Requirements Requirements: A minimum of 4 years of experience as an information technology or information security professional. (Networking, Systems Administrator, Security Engineer, etc.) A minimum of 3 years of experience in I.T. as a team lead or manager. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systems. Experience with network administration (Cisco certification a plus). Experience managing on-premises and cloud servers / infrastructure.
