This Administrative Program Specialist A position is for a vacancy located in our residential facility, Fontainebleau Treatment Center/Alcohol & Treatment Center, in Mandeville, Louisiana . Please see the Examples of Work below for additional information for this position.

This position may be filled as a Probational Appointment. Applicants may be asked to serve a probationary period that may be anywhere between 6 months and 24 months. Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicant's level of experience. Below is a list of the pay range for the position :

Administrative Program Specialist A: $17.18/hour minimum - $33.71/hour maximum

Note regarding the advertised pay range: The maximum amount listed is the maximum salary a person can make while in this title and NOT the maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hire. Selected Core Competencies:

The incumbent manages administrative staff and works in collaboration with the Facility Manager to ensure that administrative functions at the FTC/ADU Residential Facility are consistently completed in a timely manner. Incumbent manages administrative operations including, but not limited to, communications, personnel issues, payroll, property control, purchasing, accounting, medical records, reports, contracts, admission process including client insurance and financial eligibility determinations, housekeeping, and special management studies for the residential substance use treatment facility. Additionally, this incumbent routinely generates reports used to make recommendations concerning the functioning of the facility, and also to recommend any necessary changes to policies and procedures. The incumbent must have knowledge of electronic health record systems, third-party insurance payer operating procedures and practices, unit operations, and medical records.
