Description Robert Half has an opening for a Human Resources (HR) Manager with our client in our bustling restaurant and catering business located in Mandeville, Louisiana. As an HR Manager, you will be tasked with overseeing all personnel-related operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, managing employee relations, and handling benefits. You will also play a vital role in recruitment, hiring, and retention, ensuring that our team remains productive and efficient. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies Oversee the recruitment, interview, selection, and onboarding processes for various positions Manage employee relations proactively, addressing grievances and conflicts to maintain a positive work environment Ensure strict compliance with labor laws and regulations to avoid legal violations and penalties Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, aligning them with our business goals Provide guidance on performance management to front-line management Oversee annual performance evaluations for hourly team members Maintain accurate HR-related data, including turnover rates and attendance records Develop and execute employee retention programs in collaboration with the operations team Manage benefit functions, ensuring employees receive their entitled benefits and understand the benefit processesRequirements Proficiency in handling Benefit Functions, including the management of employee benefits programs and related procedures Excellent Communication skills, encompassing both verbal and written communication, with the ability to effectively convey information to all levels of staff Familiarity with Compliance matters, ensuring that the organization adheres to local, state, and federal regulations Experience in managing Employee Relations, with the ability to resolve workplace conflicts and foster a positive work environment Knowledge of Hiring Processes, from screening resumes to conducting interviews and making hiring decisions Proficiency in using HRIS - Human Resources Information Systems, for maintaining employee data, generating reports, and streamlining HR processesRobert Half puts you in the best position to succeed by advocating on your behalf and promoting you to employers.
