Right on the St. Charles streetcar line, our neighborhood wine bar is looking for a skilled, reliable cook who can work both line shifts and prep shifts. If you enjoy a compact, focused kitchen and a menu that blends European classics with creative international dishes, this is a great fit.
About Us
We’re a long-running, well-loved wine bar with a warm atmosphere and a menu built around staples like steak frites, cheese plates, and Thai Moules Frites. The kitchen is small, efficient, and very team-oriented. Every dish matters, and we take pride in doing things the right way.
What You’ll Do
Line Cook Shifts:
Cook from our eclectic menu with consistency and timing
Plate and deliver dishes directly to guests (no order taking)
Work cleanly and stay organized during service
Prep Cook Shifts:
Execute daily prep following established recipes
Keep prep lists accurate and storage areas tidy
Support the kitchen so service runs smoothly
Both Roles:
Communicate clearly with the rest of the team
Maintain a clean station and good kitchen habits
Take pride in quality and professionalism

Requirements
Minimum 2 years kitchen experience (line or prep; both preferred)
