The Joint BBQ is seeking the right person to learn to work the pits and get the day started for the restaurant. Successful candidate must be a motivated self-starter, willing to learn new ways of doing things, a great communicator and teammate. Leadership skills a big plus. Physically must be able to lift 50+ pounds, work is outside in a covered area.
This person will first work a couple weeks on the line in the restaurant and learn the food and soon after begin training on the smokers. Days begin between 5 and 5:30 and end by 2:30, 4 days per week. Training will be extensive and lots of support provided but this job carries substantial responsibility. Competitive hourly wage plus a full tip share.
