[Roadway Construction Superintendent[Job Description
[Seeking an experienced Roadway Construction Superintendent to be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and daily responsibilities of a project.[Primary Responsibilities]{arial",sans-serif"=""}]{arial",sans-serif"=""}]{arial",sans-serif"=""}]{arial",sans-serif"=""}
Review and interpret plans, blueprints, site layouts, and specifications.
Know and understand complete project plans, specifications, documents, reports, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and requirements.
Performing daily detailed on-site inspections of construction project to verify all aspects of the project are carried out as per plans, drawing, codes, and specification.
Represent company to customers, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and employees in a professional manner.
Meet regularly with company owner to review projects and ensure schedule, budget and quality are per company standards.
Maintain, manage and coordinate all project correspondence, paperwork, documentation, notices, RFIs. RFQs, Change Orders, etc.
Coordinate customer invoicing per the contract on-time and per the contract.
Document and communicate with the company owner, project owner, subcontractors, suppliers as required by contract.
Coordinate and obtain all project shop drawings and submittals.
Coordinate all City, County, Federal, Utility Companies, Inspectors, Agencies, and entities required for project completion and success.
Supervise and oversee staff on a construction site.
Schedule work and equipment.
Develop and implement operational job schedules and work plans.
Assure quality control and compliance.
Order and manage materials and equipment.
Coordinate subcontractors and oversee their interface with project activities.
Attend and participate in scheduled project meetings.
Prepare progress report for scheduled project meetings.
Coordinate with office staff to ensure One-Calls are made and updated.
Estimating - Assist with estimating, subcontractor bids, and material and labor takeoffs for bids as requested.
