About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LIVE-IN CAREGIVER FOR 24 HOURS A DAY to provide care for a delightful 98-year-old woman with dementia in her home. The ideal candidate will have experience in dementia care, a gentle and patient demeanor, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities, Transfers, and toileting.
Provide medication reminders and support.
Meal Preparation and Grocery Shopping.
Take and record vitals.
Engage in meaningful activities and companionship to stimulate cognitive functions.
Monitor and report changes in health or behavior.
Ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
Qualifications:
Prior experience with dementia patients preferred.
Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
Good communication skills
Cooking skills are a must.
