This is a very desirable opportunity to work a unique job. We are looking for a safety-conscious individual to operate the Casco Bay bridge safely. As a Bridge Operator, you must be able to communicate in English with vessel captains usually from freighter ships. The perfect candidate will be a highly dependable person to maintain our bridge house in “Tip-top” shape.

What we offer:
Part-time position (overnight shift)
Hourly Rate: $18.00 per hour
Paid training will be provided
Requirements:
Qualified candidates must be able to read and write English
Ability to follow safe opening procedures
Must be professional
Must pass a drug test (Drug-Free Workplace)
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to have regular, reliable, and dependable attendance
Must have good vision (corrective lenses are ok), and the ability to see all colors
Must be able to go up and down stairs
Perform minor bridge housekeeping maintenance
Located close to the job site a plus
The bridge will be manned 7 days a week, 24 hours a day
