General Description: Key position with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
Operates hydraulic trailers and travel lift to haul and launch power and sail boats up to 70' and 36 tons.
Operates crane for stepping and un-stepping of masts.
Operates forklift for various functions.
Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on equipment and trouble shoots problems.
Maintains awareness of and consistently practices safe work habits.
Performs heavy lifting, climbing and carrying during job process.
Performs related duties assigned or as the situation dictates.
Work Experience Required:
Experience hauling and launching vessels with a travel lift and hydraulic trailer.
Prior crane operations preferred.
Experience in maintaining equipment. Ability to comprehend and utilize technical service manuals and use them to facilitate repair and maintenance.
Capacity to work as a member of a team or by oneself to achieve desire results
General boat repair knowledge and experience is a plus.
Current driver's license.
Unlimited or unimpaired ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, lift 50 lbs and work safely around water.
Must have personal tools.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Marine trade school is a plus.
