Join Avvio Solar as a Residential Journeyman Electrician!
Avvio Solar is expanding, and we're looking for dedicated and energetic Journeyman Electricians with residential solar experience to join our growing team in Maine. If you have a passion for renewable energy and a strong work ethic, we want you to help us complete several exciting solar projects across the state.
The ideal candidates will have the following:
Positive attitude
Tools of the trade, including some personal protective equipment
Reliable transportation
Clean driving record/Valid driver's license
Current Electrical Journeyman license
Integrity
Strong work ethic
Ability to take direction, learn and implement new processes
Good oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with solar installation teams to ensure safe and efficient project completion
Perform electrical work in accordance with local and national electrical codes
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site
Maintain high standards of quality and safety
Qualifications:
Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred
Proven experience with solar installations
Strong understanding of electrical systems and blueprints
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment
