Part Time Bookkeeper

Description We are seeking a Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Saco, Maine. In this role, you will be expected to manage customer accounts, reconcile bank accounts, and oversee accounts payable and receivable. This position also involves interaction with project managers during the billing cycle. Responsibilities: Accurately process accounts payable and receivable Conduct bank account reconciliation and maintain accurate records Collaborate with project managers during the billing cycle Effectively use QuickBooks for job and time tracking Ensure accurate and timely month end close Conduct data entry tasks and maintain customer credit records Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks Oversee the billing process and ensure invoices are sent out in a timely manner Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations Solid understanding of Bookkeeping principles Ability to perform accurate Data Entry Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Experience in Month End Close procedures Proficiency in using QuickBooks software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
