Linux System Administrator (Intermediate-Level)

This position offers significant opportunities for career advancement and professional growth while supporting critical missions and operations. Job Responsibilities:Install, configure, and manage RHEL systems and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization environments.Administer KVM virtualization, Puppet automation, and kernel-level tuning.Implement system patching, STIG compliance, and release/version control.Monitor performance, handle incident response, and ensure uptime and data integrity.Automate tasks using shell scripting, Ansible, or equivalent configuration management tools.Maintain backup and recovery solutions and ensure disaster recovery readiness.Conduct system audits and enforce DoD security requirements.Maintain accurate and comprehensive configuration documentation.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
