We have an immediate opening for a Accounting Assistant within our Accounting Department.
Title: Accounting Assistant
Reports To: Accounting Manager
Purpose: The Accounting Assistant is responsible for assisting the accounting manager with basic bookkeeping, accounting and administrative tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
General Bookkeeping & Accounting Tasks such As: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, etc.
Performing basic office tasks such as filling, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail etc.
Handling communication with clients and vendors via phone, email and in person
Processing transactions, issuing checks to vendors and Subcontractors
Processing Weekly Payroll
Maintaining Subcontractor W-9 and Certificate of Liability Insurance documents
Skills:
QuicksBooks Online experience required
Organized and able to multi- task
Accuracy and attention to detail
Minimum 1 year accounting experience or related
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
