About Me

My name is Glenn. I am a 53-year-old man who uses a power wheelchair due to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I live a very positive, active life and require caregivers to support my independence and daily routines. I have had caregivers for over 25 years and have a well-organized system that makes training smooth and stress-free.

Saturdays: 7:30am–9:30pm

Sundays: 7:30am–9:30pm

I am specifically looking for a caregiver who can reliably work:

Every other weekend: Saturday and Sunday 7:30am–9:30pm (28 hrs/every other week)

Job Environment

This is a low-stress job in a pleasant environment.

My home is equipped with a ceiling track lift and divided-leg U-sling for safe, straightforward transfers. I use:

A condom catheter with a leg bag during the day

A BiPAP machine at night

I happily train caregivers in all care tasks.

I also enjoy 3D printing and laser engraving, and might need help with occasional simple tasks—fun hobbies to be part of.

Daily Responsibilities

Most hands-on tasks occur in the morning and evening.

During the day, tasks are lighter.

Typical responsibilities include:

Assisting with getting in and out of bed

Toileting assistance

Sunday evenings: Social outing and visiting parents.

Other outings: Groceries, appointments, or dinner.

I have a 2017 Toyota Sienna with an in-floor wheelchair ramp, which you will drive.
