Our work depends on a Project/Task Manager joining our team to be responsible for scope, cost, schedule, and performance of assigned projects from either location: Annapolis Junction, MD or Sterling, VA.At GDIT, we foster a people-focused and customer-centric environment in delivering Project Management Services. As a Project/Task Manager supporting the Government, you will be trusted with management, direction, administration, quality control, and leadership of the execution of projects/tasks of the ISEE task order.In this role, a typical day may include:

Managing the project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, project budget, and project conflicts

Planning, executing, managing, and closing projects that meet or exceed customer objectives in assigned projects

Conducting plans and providing recommendations to the client on task workloads

Ensuring team members understand and execute their respective roles and the roles of the other team members

Coordinating resolution of production-related problems/roadblocks

Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

Coordinating development of deliverables and services

Ensuring proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of engineering services

Ensuring production schedules are met and system resources are used effectively

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI poly.

Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security.

Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work/military experience

10+ years of relevant experience managing projects through project life cycle

Solid leadership, coaching, and mentorship skills

Solid organization skills and multitasking skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Experience with Microsoft Project

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
