We are currently seeking an accurate, experienced, and thorough accountant to join our company. In this role, you will demonstrate your expertise in a variety of accounting practices, including A/P, A/R, G/L, multi-state sales tax, inventory, and reconciliations. To succeed in this position, you will be highly accurate and efficient, adding value to the accounting team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurate processing of specific accounts payable and receivable transactions
Calculation and posting of inventory transactions
Application of cash receipts and adjustments
Posting general journal entries
Monthly bank reconciliation
Verifying and reconciling multi-state sales tax certificates and taxes using Avalara system
Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
Experience in the accounting field required
Experience with multi-state sales tax required
Experience with Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics preferred
Proficiency in Excel required
Bachelor's degree is preferred
