Job Title: Building Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Building Maintenance Technician will work the 8am-4pm shift, performing a variety of essential maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role involves plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance duties, as well as assisting with dormitory turnover and preventive maintenance during the summer.Responsibilities
Perform plumbing jobs such as adjustment and repair of pipes, plumbing fixtures, valves, floats, drains, grease traps, sump pumps, and watering systems.
Maintain and repair air-conditioning units, freezers, refrigerators, hot water heaters, HVAC units, heat pumps, fan coil units, induction units, terminal reheat, and similar equipment.
Unclog drain lines and sewers.
Make minor adjustments to building controls.
Assist with dormitory turnover and preventive maintenance while students are out for the summer.
