We are conducting a research study to understand opioid withdrawal in order to improve future treatments. If you are 18 or older and experience withdrawal when you stop using opioids, you may qualify for our study. As part of the study, you will be withdrawn from opioids using an FDA-approved medication over an 11-day period at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Campus. After the study, you will be offered follow-up with either buprenorphine (Suboxone) or naltrexone (Vivitrol). Compensation up to $1,130 is possible.
