Graul’s Market is a family-owned grocery store known for its exceptional service and a welcoming environment. We are currently hiring a friendly and dependable Beer, Wine & Spirits Clerk to join our team.
Must have reliable transportation, since we are NOT on the bus route or light rail lines
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes working on Saturdays.
This position is at our Lutherville, md store
Position Overview:
As a Beer, Wine & Spirits Clerk, you’ll help customers in our beer, wine, and spirits store, keep shelves stocked and organized, and ensure a clean and welcoming shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service in the beer, wine, and spirits department
Operate cash registers and manage transactions accurately using the POS system.
Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure displays are neat and full
Assist customers in finding products and answering general questions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department
Check IDs to verify legal age when selling alcohol (training provided)
Help with inventory and restocking as needed
Qualifications:
Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused
Able to use cash register and manage transactions accurately using the POS system.
Ability to lift and stock products (some heavy lifting required)
Comfortable standing for long periods and moving around the store
Willingness to learn about products (wine knowledge is a plus, but not required)
Must be at least 21 years old
