This is a week-end position. We are a licensed 9 bed home with current census of 7 high functioning seniors. Hours are 7AM to 3PM and 3PM to 7PM. Will consider 12 hour shifts. Home healthcare experience is required. The applicant should have experience with assisting residents with basic ADLsto bathe, shave, and dress; to transfer to and from wheelchair to bed, chair, shower; take vital signs and administer medications and allowed treatments(if not Med Tech certified may train), do laundry and perform other housekeeping duties (including making beds, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting). Applicant will prepare and serve a light mid-day meal and assist residents to eat if necessary.
The week-end evening position requires good cooking skills. Applicant will prepare and serve the evening meal. Duties may also include feeding as needed and keeping all dietary areas and equipment clean and sanitized. The candidate will be responsible for medication administration (may train qualified candidate on Medication Administration). This position requires assistance with ADLs as necessary and assisting residents to bed.
CPR/First Aid, a physical and a CJIS background check are required.
