Building Infrastructure Group, Inc. (BIG), a regional leader in the low voltage industry, is seeking highly motivated, high-energy individuals to join our expanding team. We’re currently hiring for positions installing structured cabling systems and AV systems in the Baltimore, MD and DC area.
Responsibilities:
Installation of low voltage communication cabling systems – consisting of copper, fiber optics, coaxial cables, and AV cabling within new commercial construction and occupied office space.
Build‐out of telecommunication closets to include equipment racks, cabinets, ladder racking systems, patch panels, and AV equipment & devices.
Testing, labeling, and certification of new cable installations and AV equipment.
Job Requirements:
Professional, team-oriented work ethic; willingness to learn.
Adherence to regular attendance and normal scheduled hours; willing to work overtime, often on short notice.
Familiarity and the ability to work with various hand tools.
Ability to work on ladders.
Ability to frequently lift up to 30 lbs.
Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation to travel between client job sites in and around the Baltimore, MD & D.C. Metro area.
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment screening process that includes a background investigation, drug screen, and acceptable driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Due to client requirements, US citizenship required.
