Immediate opening for a construction laborer role.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 75lbs
Minimum 1 year of experience and knowledge in:
Building and Construction: Understanding of construction materials, methods, and tools
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Construction Safety: Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to safety standards
Mechanical Skills: Familiarity with machines, tools, repair, and maintenance
Responsibilities:
Perform physical labor tasks at construction sites, including:
Operating hand and power tools such as air hammers, cement mixers, and surveying equipment
Site preparation, trench digging, scaffolding erection, and debris cleanup
Adhere to established safety rules and regulations, identifying and eliminating potential hazards
Load, unload, and distribute building materials, machinery, or tools according to project plans
Assist craft workers, such as carpenters or plasterers, as needed
Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities
Measure, mark, or record openings and distances for construction work
Install structures or fixtures using carpenters' hand or power tools
Maintain detailed records of work activities and time
