Specialty contracting company seeking motivated individual to perform a range of manual labor duties including, but not limited to: lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading products and machinery from vehicles, excavating and refilling holes and routine grounds maintenance skills. Individual will assist crew chief with production and provide assistance in an overall team effort.
The work environment may often include inclement weather, working in confined spaces, standing for long periods of time, and working with and around various types of equipment.
The candidate must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass drug screening tests to obtain necessary government clearances.
Other requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Understand basic measurements in feet and inches
- Operate a variety of simple and complex construction tools and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to listen and comprehend oral and written instructions to learn the company's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques and equipment use.
