Company Description:
We make the ID tags that go around the legs of birds, called “leg bands”. BeMore Bird Supplies & American Bird Bands is one of the top suppliers of engraved and stamped leg bands for birds in the country. We are currently a very small company, consisting of the owner and one full-time employee, but we are growing quickly. Some of our clients include zoos, aquariums, aviaries, researchers, conservationists, pet shops, and private breeders. You can find our products being used on wild parrots in Central America, pet parrots in your local pet shop, and migratory birds across the continent. We tend to get especially busy from January through June.
Job Description:
We are seeking a new employee to help with everyday tasks such as production, finishing, stamping and cleaning. This job involves working with lasers, presses, and chemical finishing equipment.
Hours can be negotiated but we expect a minimum of 20 hours per week. Hours are firm at first but can be more flexible with time, as you become more independent.
We are looking for employees who want to grow with us. Applicants should be able to work independently for long stretches of time but also able to work well with others and to take feedback well. We expect our employees to be mature and to take their work seriously.
