Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Metal Stud Framers for an immediate start in Glen Burnie, MD
PAY: 25-30hr (based on experience)
HOURS: 7:30am - 5:00pm
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
WEEKLY HOURS: 40+ hours per week
START DATE: Immediately
DURATION: 3+ weeks
JOB DESCRIPTION: Metal Stud Framer
Installs the light-gauge steel framing that forms the structure for interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and partitions in commercial buildings.
Reading blueprints and layout drawings to determine wall locations.
Measuring, cutting, and assembling metal studs and track systems.
Securing studs with screws, fasteners, and anchors to create framing for drywall and other finishes.
Making sure walls are plumb, square, and properly aligned.
Coordinating with other trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) to leave space for systems.
Working with power tools such as screw guns, chop saws, and lasers for layout.
Often installing backing or bracing for doors, windows, and fixtures.
Additional Requirements:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Job requires proper use of PPE: Hard Hat, work boots, safety glasses, and hi vis vest
Must have basic tools for the trade
