CloseKnit is currently hiring a Lead UX Designerto join their team.

PURPOSE:

The Lead User Experience Designer is a UX strategist, will work on enterprise level UX solutions to provide seamless user experience across multiple product lines. They will define and implement integrated UX strategy across organization's product suite. This individual will define UX maturity model and roadmap across products. They will standardize all the UX/UI deliverables' templates and guidelines for the enterprise to drive consistency. They will take lead on UX planning, budget estimation, UX scope and scheduling on projects. Propose UX measurement for the product and help implement them. They will also help evangelize UX best practice adoption at the organization level. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members. Stay apprise of user/customer experience industry trends and best practice to lead team across interaction types (web, mobile).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

UX Strategy & Planning
  • Works closely with product managers, product owners, business architects, solution architects and client to define UX strategy, drive UX working sessions for user research, information architecture, interaction design and usability testing, to ensure UX/UI on-time deliveries. Responsible for quality control on the development of product to conform UX and UI design. Lead UX strategy to enable the best in class user experience for the product. Performs UX maturity assessment and gap analysis on the project; and drive improvements. Create UX roadmap for the enterprise, and/or product suite. Plan UX activities and deliverables. Define UX metrics. Stay abreast of UX industry trends and apply best practices to the projects.

UX Research
  • Apply research methodologies, human factors, the user-centered design process, and statistics for the product and customer service design in an Agile working environment. Collaborate with stakeholders, product management, customer support to address user pain points and inform opportunities. Independently and collaboratively plan, execute, and analyze research activities and deliverables across products. Perform qualitative and quantitative data analyses to improve customer and user experiences. Undertake comparative and competitive analyses to evaluate industry and non-industry products and experiences. Evolve the user research practice with input into planning, methodology, deliverables, and more. Analyze data and generate insights towards product roadmap to think about short term and long-term product strategy. Identify and prioritize discoveries for upcoming design and future research. Tell the story of the data through collaboration with UX designers for leadership and peers. Own UX measurement by adapting UX/UI processes and Google Analytics. Ensure on-time delivery of research activities and deliverables.

Interaction Design
  • Lead card sorting activities, create content strategy. Conceptualize navigation schemas, search schema and taxonomies. Identify user scenarios, Create sitemap, task flows, user flows and wireframes. Lead the team to review UX interaction design and provide guidance and mentorship.

Visual Design
  • Lead the team to review UI mockup and provide guidance to the team members to improve the design. Responsible for the architecture of design system and improvement. Collaborate development team to ensure the UX/UI quality on development delivery of the product.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree OR inlieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Experience: 8 years Related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Knowledge of markup language HTML/CSS.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean UX and Agile environments.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Experience in Adobe XD, Axure, Balsamiq, Invision, UXPin, InDesign, Sketch.
  • Deep strategic thinking abilty, strong leadership skills, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects efficiently with strong time management skill.

Licenses/Certifications
  • Certified User Experience Professional (CUEP)Preferred
