Company Description
pureintegration is seeking a Senior .Net Software Architect familiar with designing and building applications that run in Microsoft Azure. The .Net Architect will lead a team doing full stack development of applications that drive portions of IT Operations Management process within an enterprise. As such, familiarity with the roles of various types of monitoring, event management and configuration management database (CMDB) within an enterprise architecture will also be highly valuable. Location: Remote Role - Physical Locations, Chevy Chase, MDWork Arrangement: Contract, initial contract period through 6/30/2022 with possible extension. Work Authorization: EAD, GC, USCIT - We Do Not Sponsor H1B Visas, or C2CYou Will:- Understand a customer's end goals to design custom software-based solutions that meet those needs
- Architect applications using a mix of .Net and Javascript that run on Azure services such as CosmosDB, Classic Cloud Services, Service Bus, Azure Kubernetes Service and more
- Manage a mixed team of onshore and offshore resources to deliver software-based solution to end customers
- Create necessary CI and CD pipelines that follow customer's practices/toolsets to allow for the build and deployment of custom defined software
- Create architectural documentation both to
- Lead customer facing meetings in person and through video chat with project leadership as well as technology resources
- Participate in Agile processes, including the definition and management of user stories and tasks, attending and participating in daily scrum calls and coordinating sprint demos
- Act as a mentor to pureIntegration and customer developers
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent practical experience,
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, primarily focused on .Net architectures
- 5+ years experience building and deploying applications that run in Microsoft Azure
- IT Operations Management experience, understand monitoring and event management workflows, and the roles of tools like CMDB in enterprise environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Practiced in working within large enterprise environments
- Prior consulting experience
- Strong organization skills and a self-starting mindset
- Ability to support some travel based on client needs
