Deloitte is hiring a Cognos BI Report Developer to support our client in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. By joining our team, you will play a key role in helping to our clients uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data and transforming the Government and Public Services marketplace. Work you'll do- Support our HR client by managing a variety of data from the HR system of record and other external data sources to include: sustaining an ad hoc help desk, creating pre-canned reporting solutions, and building visually appealing dashboards and infographics
- Assist with the development, collection, analysis, and reporting of data
- Translate data analysis findings and research principles into written documents.
- Manipulate and transform data through the use of databases, spreadsheets, and queries
- Responsible for gathering any necessary requirements, conduct user acceptance testing, and ensure the proper maintenance of the deliverable(s) all while working in a fast paced, highly visible environment
- Client interaction will be regular and sustained, encompassing both formal presentations and informal, routine communication
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
- Strong analytical skills (use of MS SQL Database, R, Microsoft Excel, Macros, Tableau to parse, analyze, and present data)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik Sense, Cognos, etc.)
- Travel up to 25%
- Strong development, writing skills, and presentation skills (e.g., proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications)
- Ability to facilitate client meetings and workshops to define client processes and requirements
- Ability to lead small teams to complete a project
- Past or current experience supporting Human Capital and/or Workforce Development organizations/offices is a plus
