Work ScheduleFirst Shift (Days)Environmental ConditionsOfficeJob DescriptionThe Supply Chain Specialist III is responsible for supporting CSD in providing leadership and executing on the strategic direction to deliver on business KPIs through management of planning, logistics, continuous improvement projects & supplier delivery improvement initiatives. This role is critically important to the business by meeting customer demand, increasing efficiency, decreasing waste, and lowering costs.What will you do?
Continuous Improvement/Execution of projects for supply chain
Be a Practical Process Improvement Leader by identifying improvement opportunities and leading Kaizen initiatives.
Lead project team towards implementation of critical supply chain projects including but not limited to MRP customization/optimization and implementation of Advance Planning & Scheduling systems.
Supplier Management
Driving performance improvement at the most critical suppliers by identifying and resolving complex systemic problems. Implement Supplier Recovery / improvement / standard work, used to develop suppliers to perform at World Class levels by improving process capabilities.
Create and manage implementation of strategic projects including project plans, overall tracking capability, reporting of progress within team and up through leadership.
validation of POs to support demand are accurate, measure / improve supplier Line of Balances (LOB) and past dues (PD), verify raw material and work in process (WIP) positions, review yield/ quality performance, resolve capacity issues, identify tooling gaps and needs, ensure supplier has stable and accurate demand signals and improve Supplier Look -Ahead metrics.
How will you get here:Education
Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or other business management subject area or related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Experience
3+ years relevant supply chain experience in the Life Science or Medical Device industry, or regulated industry.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Project management experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, able to multi-task and is goal-oriented.
Knowledge of inventory control techniques, solid understanding and application of planning functions related to Capacity Planning (CPS), Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and interfacing systems (i.e., QA, Forecasting).
Strong analytical skills, combined with practical business acumen.
Demonstrated performance in building relationships across various functional teams.
Proficiency in Advanced Planning, MRP and ERP planning systems (E1 and SAP)
