Electrician II

The Electrician II - Journeyman is responsible for performing all electrical tasks under general supervision. The role requires a Journeyman license, the ability to read blueprints, terminate cables, install and troubleshoot control wiring from drawings, and demonstrate experience beyond that of an electrical apprentice. Additionally, proficiency in rough-in work is required.Essential FunctionsInstall feeders and branch circuits.Size wire and conduit.Install and terminate switchgear, panelboards, lighting, and devices.Install and terminate fire alarm systems equipment/devices.Perform layout and preparation for installation.Complete underground layout and rough-in.Troubleshoot motors and controls.Mentor and train apprentice electricians.Fully comprehend electrical theory and the NFPA 70 National Electrical Code.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.May be required to fill in as needed in other positions at the direction of the manager or director.
