Supervise and direct food production planning, waste management, record keeping, follow up, and modification based on client volumes? Assist with flow of day-to-day operations on the floor to ensure that all residents, clients and peers are treated with respect and empathy? Assist with training and development of staff; experience managing in a unionized setting is preferred? Ensure food safety standards and HACCP are always enforced? Assist in dealing with staff related issues such as vacation requests, progressive discipline, etc.? Ensure adherence to all of ARAMARK?s and Client Community Policies and Procedures? Ensure adherence to ARAMARK?s and Client Community Health and Safety PolicyQualificationsPost-graduate diploma from an accredited Food & Nutrition Management program is preferred? Certified Dietary Manager certification preferred.? Certified Food Manager certification required.? 5+ years food service management experience in long-term care, or residential community is preferred? Demonstrated leadership; decision making; problem solving and communication skills? Working knowledge of health and safety, employment, and human rights legislation? Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards?
