Sample Analyst

We are seeking an individual to support drug substances/product testing for our Professional Scientific Services group in the Gaithersburg, MD area.Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :Responsible for testing drug substances and products by established site-specific GxP, SOP, and protocols. Testing includes, but is not limited to; chromatographic, electrophoresis, and spectroscopic methods.Analysts will document and report all work using an electronic laboratory notebook and computer-based data storage software.Recognizes deviations from project guidelines, determines appropriate action, and notifies applicable personnel.Maintain laboratory and equipment using Lean 6 Sigma methods.Must be willing to participate in cross-functional support teams, such as sample management.Applicants must be willing to work around and handle unknown health risk material in a Biosafety level 2/3 Environment.
