Description:The Nurse Administrative Coordinator accepts responsibility for providing administrative support to all departments and facilitating hospital operations on 24 hour basis, 7 days per week including holidays. The Nurse Administrative Coordinator is a professional management person responsible for coordination and direction of hospital operations, clinical and administrative activities in the absence of the clinical mangers, dept. heads and administration.Responsibilities:

Assures that hospital operations continue and the needs of patients and their families are met in an effective and efficient manner.

When needed, communicates to the on-call administrative staff to keep them informed of significant occurrences and receive further direction.

Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.

What you will need:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor’s in Nursing required; Master's degree in nursing preferred

Current licensure by the Maryland State Board as a Registered Nurse

BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association)

Requires at least five (5) years’ nursing experience in a hospital that included a variety of direct contact with clinical service, material management, medical staff, and patient admission departments.

Two (2) years of management experience required.

Advanced computer skills to include data entry and retrieval, including Microsoft specialty products.

Reads, writes, speaks and comprehends English language.

Ability to effectively communicate complex and comprehensive information thoroughly and succinctly.
