As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be trusted to perform a key role in driving the success of programs. You will be providing financial data to GDIT and client stakeholders, performing complex tasks in various financial functions with an emphasis in budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting.In this role, assignments will include:
Leadthe process and development of the program's operating expenses across various functions for budgets, forecasts and long-range operating plans
Monthly revenue analysis; analyze and interpret meaningful trends,identifying risks and opportunities
Work with business leaders toprovide insights and potential action plansthrough analysis for real time data decision making
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting and presentations,driving clear and consistent understandingof program performance
Responsible for the administration and continued development of the budgeting, reporting and forecasting tools
Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support program and organization awareness and decision making
Help identify and develop continuous improvement into business processes and reporting through automation, new tools or systemization
Develop and leverage strong collaborations to understand the cause and effect of business decisions and drive strong communication and coordination with cross-functional business partners
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree in Finance or related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience (4+ years of additional experience in lieu of a degree)
5+ years related finance or accounting experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with various contract types (T&M, Firm Fixed Price) preferred but not required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently, set priorities and handle multiple tasks with a high level of efficiency and accuracy with the flexibility to quickly adjust to changing priorities
