Description:Our client is looking to add a Commercial Install Technician to their team as they continue to grow their footprint. This Technician will be supporting customers throughout Maryland including the Eastern Shore as well as parts of Northern Delaware. There is no central office location in this market, the Technician will receive their construction schedule a week in advance, in some cases they will work with the Sales Engineer to help price out a job as well as schedule the actual construction. All equipment will be shipped to the Technician's house so they can transport as needed to customer sites. The Technician will be given the use of a company vehicle. They need to have experience installing a variety of security equipment. Must also have experience with motion sensors, door locks, glass breaks, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors. If a candidate has fire alarm experience that would be a nice value add but it is not necessary, they can be trained on these panels. Knowledge of how these systems work and how they are set up is necessary to have. Top Skills Details:1) 5 years of experience in the commercial security field specific to installation of equipment, including access control, hardwire CCTV and wireless CCTV cameras, low voltage cables, locks, motion sensors, etc. 2) Ability to communicate with others including internal management, end customers' project management team, customers, and sales engineers. 3) Must be able to problem solve, have installation experience so that they can meet the quality of construction needed by customers, have an understanding of how to wire and mount all security equipment. 4) Need to have proper knowledge of safety codes for security, fire, and electrical circuit load so the system works properly.
