About the RoleThe successful Architect candidate focuses on generation of models, drawings and other documents in support of overall project deliverables. This position encourages creativity in problem solving while balancing the application of company standards and templates. Project size, type, exposure and responsibility will vary, including renovation and new construction opportunities. This position will require a high level of coordination with others within a team environment, working under the direct supervision of an experienced Architect. Project work may include all levels of design, including studies, conceptual design, design development, detailed design and construction administration.Core ResponsibilitiesWork under the guidance of experienced Architect to execute all phases of design, including programming, planning, concept development, detailed design and construction administration.Generate design and construction models and documentation utilizing Revit or other BIM software.Assisting in the development of studies, presentations and reports.Develop and apply working knowledge of the International Building Codes as part of project delivery process.Work closely with Engineering and Construction personnel to develop and ensure coordinated and constructible designs.Conduct basic field investigations of existing systems and structures.Participate and contribute during drawing reviews, coordination meetings and quality checks.Delegation of basic and fundamental tasks to Architectural Intern / Design staff
