Mechanical Contractor seeking an experienced, qualified Foreman to oversee Plumbers and Fitters for project at PAX River Naval Station, PAX River, MD, that is seeking full-time, long-term employment. These are Wage Scale projects, so you must be a Legal US Citizen or possess a valid Permanent Resident Card and Real ID to be permitted entrance on base. This individual is in charge of overseeing the day-to-day activities on site; be the direct supervisor of all plumbers, fitters, welders, apprentices and laborers on site, as well as coordinate and oversee all Sub-Subcontractors working on site installing Ductwork, Insulation, Water Treatment, Automatic Temperature Controls and Air/Water Balancing. Individual should make sure all job tasks are completed on time, in accordance with the project plans and specifications, and are progressing in a manner to stay within the confines of the construction schedule. This individual must have the knowledge to read and interpret contract plans and specifications. In addition, read/interpret blue prints, prepare take-offs, provide the layout for all work involved and order all rough materials for their site on a weekly basis.

Individual should have prior hands-on experience in the field, as well as management experience for a similar-size mechanical contractor. Their knowledge of the mechanical industry must include all phases of commercial plumbing systems (from ground to finished fixtures), including sewage ejection, water storage, acid waste systems, gas, sanitary, storm and domestic water systems, integrated into institutional as well as commercial applications.

Their HVAC experience should include all aspects of hydronic piping systems, including installation and start-up; knowledge of chilled water, condensor water and hot water heating systems.

Experience with projects such as condominiums, hotels, schools, office buildings and institutional work. All projects are hydronic two (2) or four (4) pipe systems.
