HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic
Location: Southern Maryland
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic with at least 5 years of experience in installing ductwork systems. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Lay out, assemble, and install HVAC ductwork according to specifications and drawings.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal machinery safely and productively
Read and interpret HVAC drawings.
Ensure proper fit, alignment, and sealing of duct systems.
Work with other Team Members and Supervisors to meet job schedules
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC ductwork installation.
Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings.
Proficiency in measuring, cutting, modifying and properly sealing ductwork
Ability to use lifts- duct jacks and other trade tools
Preferred:
Experience with Commerical and Government work
Light Welding
Working with scaffoldings and lifts
