Description Robert Half has a new direct-hire opportunity for an Office Manager. We're looking for a proactive addition to play a critical role in managing both the administrative and bookkeeping functions for a company in the Timonium, MD area.Key Responsibilities:Bookkeeping Functions:

Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and expenses.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.

Work closely with external accountants

Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning for the office.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Administrative Functions:

Manage the daily operations of the office, including maintaining office supplies, scheduling meetings, and coordinating office events.

Serve as the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and employees, handling inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate parties.

Maintain and organize physical and digital files, ensuring that all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.

Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries for staff as needed.

Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.

Oversee the maintenance of office equipment and facilities, liaising with vendors for repairs or services as required.

Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Office Manager, Bookkeeper, or in a similar administrative role.

Proficiency in bookkeeping software QuickBooks and Excel

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required.
